on the whole, it's great base for having fun and exploring shap. it has great and particularly good location in shap, right by the cotswolds. the beds are comfy, i truly enjoyed them.

Spotless apartment, well-equipped and warm with convenient parking. Friendly staff went out of their way to retrieve forgotten items and arranged for delivery. Top service!

Not suitable for dog owners due to restrictions on furniture and lack of dog-friendly areas. No curtain or blind in the bathroom window made me feel unsafe.

I stayed at Tethera, Amma Barn for an overnight stay during a motorcycle trip to Scotland. The key safe was a real bonus since I wasn't sure of my arrival time. The apartment was spotless, well equipped, comfortable, and warm. The parking space right at my door was a great convenience, especially in the awful weather. The staff went out of their way to find and return my forgotten items, providing top-notch service. I highly recommend this property for its cleanliness, comfortable bed, amazing walk-in shower, and great location near Lake Windermere.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed and more. The bed was super comfortable and the walk-in shower was jaw-dropping. The location was great with a local shop and pubs nearby, and Lake Windermere was just a short drive away. The free parking right outside the door was a bonus, and the staff were incredibly helpful and responsive. We didn't want to leave and would highly recommend this place for a perfect stay. 10/10 for an amazing experience!

my second stay in shap was even better than the first! tethera, amma barn is a hidden gem with all the amenities you need. modern studio with comfy bed, walk-in shower, and smart tv. the staff were amazing - even helped me retrieve my belongings that i left behind. highly recommend and can't wait to explore more next time!

The apartment at Tethera, Amma Barn in Shap was cozy and inviting, with a warm and homely atmosphere. It had a comfortable sofa where I could unwind after a long day of exploring. The private entrance made me feel like I had my own little space in the world. Plus, the flat-screen TV was perfect for indulging in some late-night movie marathons.

Personally, I would have preferred a larger wardrobe to accommodate all my clothes, but that's just me.
